I’m not a regular photography coach;

One thing about me: I’ve almost always had a camera in-hand, especially as a teenager and college student.

I’m not going to tell you how long ago that was, but Ciara, Gwen Stefani, and Nelly were at the top of the Billboards, TRL was still a thing, and FRIENDS had just ended. So, you can do the math. :))

Hey, I’m Carmen!

I have always loved snapping photos to remember fun times with friends, which eventually turned into people asking me to take their photos, and then people actually PAYING me to take those photos.

And while I loved every minute of it, I eventually began to distance myself from photography because I felt really insecure as a creative.

I wish I could go back to that scared version of myself and give her the biggest, warmest hug. I didn’t come back to photography until 2018 - a whole decade later! And even then, I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know if I could dive back into the vulnerability of creativity, much less build an actual business.

Why am I telling you all of this?

Because I know how it feels to start a creative business and feel anxious, insecure, and simply not know where or how to start.

Friend, I am here to tell you not only is your dream possible, but you are far more capable than you even realize.
